road block on 9 july 2011 bersih rally 2.0 kuala lumpur

yesterday 6 july, there were massive traffic jam due to road block at puchong causing many people late for work.

MORE ROAD BLOCKS are ahead...

road blocks will be started on friday midnight 8th july 2011 due to the bersih 2.0 rally. about 58 of road blocks checking vehicles for any items related to the bersih 2.0 rally.

it is adviced to take public transport if possible, such as LRT to prevent yourself from massive traffic jam. or if all of you out there have plenty of annual leave to clear, it would be great to take leave on that day so that traffic won't be that bad.

so drivers whom might stuck in the jam. please clear your bladder before you drive, have some biscuits in the car, get your favourite music in your car, and do stay calm and be nice to other drivers. thank you.

new myvi 2011 instrument panel

the new myvi launched today. and the instrument panel is simply remarkable.

i like the way it lit up, instead of instantly lit up the panel, it slowly glows. weldone perodua..!!

besides it even calculates your fuel consumption. which is really amazing. no wonder the new myvi is so costly. adding all these stuff would mark up its cost.

more myvi 2011 leak photoes

after a month of delay. finally the launching date for the 2011 perodua myvi would be on the 16 june 2011 at PWTC by the prime minister.

more myvi 2011 photoes here, and this time perodua producing purple color myvi

could it be the same color as the purple kelisa before?

below are more of the photoes taken by forumers and car lovers.

would it be solid white? or pearl white?

this has to be the most clearest picture of the full car taken. and it seems to be the lowest spec as it does not have fog lights and also side skirtings.

perodua had the high specs equiped with LCD and it comes with GPS. some how i find that triangle glovebox a kind of annoying.

seems like projector headlamps and this model comes with front skirting

probably the low specs comes with CD player only. i wonder if there are any aux in socket.

up close to the high specs version. its able to navigate GPS, FM stereo, CD player, USB reader, and amazingly SD card reader, could this player in the car allows user to open jpeg files? it is a brilliant idea that you could go somewhere out there, taking some photoes with your digital camera, when you're on your way back, your family could enjoy seeing the pictures taken right away! now i wonder if there are any DVD playback for this device. and also the bluetooth function. btw, i am kinda worry about road accidents might increase as people might lost concentration while driving.

now here is the price list, but its only for the 1.3 variant. i believe the figure excluded road tax and insurance. and it seems like the 1.5L would reach up to 60k!!! that is expensive as it is close to the price of alza already.

new myvi 2011 specification

estimations price of the new myvi 2011 are made across the web for the new upcoming new 2011 myvi.

here are some leaked specification of the new myvi.
The specifications for the new Perodua Myvi are as below:Engine: 1.3-L and 1.5-LTransmission: Auto and ManualModel for Myvi 1.3 L:
  1. Standard
  1. Permium
  1. Elegance
Model for Myvi 1.5 L:
  1. Special Edition
  1. Extreme

so there will be no more 1.0 myvi anymore. and comes with new 1.5L.

I wonder if the 1.5 models, or the 'extreme' models are in good sales as the hike of petrol seems to burden the  car owners.

besides the 'extreme' myvi 1.5L is estimated 60k, to me, that is over priced for a minivan, or hatchback already!!!

click here to check out the leaked pictures of myvi.

if you guys have any idea of the price list, do leave a comment below! thanks

new myvi 2011 leak photoes

we've seen this at the kuala lumpur international motor 2010 .. perodua had teased us the 'x-style' model of up coming perodua, and we all know by the look of the shape, it's a perodua myvi

actually the myvi was suppose to be launched around may 2011, but due to the tsunami in japan, some of the parts are unable to reach malaysia on time. so the launched had postponed to rumored this june 2011.

following is the latest toyota passo model

here are some leak photoes of the upcoming myvi 2011...

the new myvi had projector headlamp
it also comes with its typical LED style brakelights. and so far myvi's brake lights seems to be quite impressive as i hardly saw any malfunctioned brakelights of myvis...

finally we have sporty yellow color since the kelisa special editions

the rear bumper looks pleasant with its 'fake air flow' like all the myvi SEs had.

my oh my... probably full spec comes with LCD screen. i wonder if it has GPS. but the dull color steering seems to be standard spec. and this means maybe normal specs of the myvi comes with LCD screens.

interior looks ok so far

some spy shots on the road

i have a feeling that these models are going to flood the road pretty soon.

PROTON INSPIRA launched

the latest proton, the proton inspira had launched today..

the long term rumored waja replacement model, finally got its official name, the proton inspira. this lancer based model inspira will be launched on nov 10. and proton planned to sell 1600 unit a month.

but the spokesman of proton claiming that the car is not a replacement of the Waja, eventhough proton had discontinued the waja models. click here for the source.

i wanted to read more informaiton about the official website but.. somehow i just can't manage to log into their website, which is rather annoying.

everybody knows that proton had return its collaboration with its old time partner.. the mitsubishi, and this model is based on mitsubishi lancer.

for those who wanted to buy a lancer... this is a good option as original mitusbishi lancer costs around RM120k, while the cheapest you can get for an inspira is rm8k...

now i got to realise that ...

a lot of proton waja owner regret modifying thier waja into another proton cars...

*lancer replica based on proton waja

and a lot of lancer owner worry about thier car's resale value in the future...

the new proton waja

this is some snap shot from someone using a camera phone of the new coming proton waja.

from the pictures, it is clearly seen that it is based on the latest mitsubishi lancer.

i find it surprising as i thought proton would have used the previous generation lancer as its based where previously there were some leaked pictures as well, with proton's badge on it. but the car was never released.

check out below snapshots for upcoming waja. notice the badge, it looks almost like today's proton batch.

on second thought... could it because of a lot of waja owner actually loves mitsubishi lancer so much that makes proton decided to build the next coming waja base on mitsubishi lancer?

RM20,000 for slowest Mat Rempit

this is totally silly and I really wonder how these people come out with ideas like this!!!!!!!

according to nst, state government of pahang is giving away rm20,000 for illegal street racers to compete each other, and whomever is the slowest and with dangerous skills performed shall win the cash...

state government claims that this competition/event is due to get closer to the public.

so what is the next thing the state government would do to get closer to the public? street drifting competition? robbing competition? house breaking competition?
